Now with the expansion draft being completed, even though the picks were made public due to Frank Seravalli leaking all the picks before the telecast even had commenced. But non the less we still had an expansion draft and we still have to recap who was picked and what it means not only for the Philadelphia Flyers but also for the rest of the league.

What do thes picks mean for Seattle? Well First the Kraken are not even close to the salary cap floor sitting only at $52,548,333 leaving more then 28 million in cap space still. I would imagine with all the reports and tweets from league insiders stating that there are a bunch of side deals, that come 1 o’Clock eastern time this Kraken roster will look slightly different. At this time it is hard to get an idea of what the Kraken are trying to do. But it is evident that the Kraken are buying into cap space being your greatest asset in this flat cap world.

What Does This Mean For the Flyers:

As of right now it means absolutly nothing. They recieved no cap relief and did not recieve any indication that they are involved in any major side deals other then possibly one to solidify the bottom six with Tyler Pitlick. Unfortantly with the way the NHL has gone about this has left very little to the imagination and has given use very little to try create a story but in the coming days as more news and trades happen I will try my best to give you my oppinion and educated guess of what will happen next.
