To start the game the Flyers started off hot with what looked like a good goal early on by Kevin Hayes with a pretty assist from Joel Farabee, but was overturned due to offsides. Shortly after Lindblom got a one time shot off for a 1-0 lead that was assisted by Konecny. The Flyers would continue their offensive prowess, dominating the rest of the first.

In the second period the captain would finally strike and get on the board in the first minute of play with sweet redirection. Sanhiem and JVR would get the assists and continue to put the pressure on.

In the third the Blackhawks will strike with a goal by Saad assisted by Shaw and Dach. Then it would look like Farabee would get his first career NHL goal as he stole the puck from Saad and had a break away , but Hayes was still caught up in the offensive zone and would once again get overturned. Hayes would end up breaking away and scoring with a pretty break out pas from Laughton and the other helper being Farabee. Later on int the period JVR would steal the puck and put Lehner through a loop as he decked him out his pads scoring the final tally. The Flyers would go on to win last night 4-1
