Let’s put it plain and simple tonight is a must win game for the Flyers as they are in desperate need of a win after dropping their last 3 games. Giroux is still without a goal, who is notorious for slow starts but he’s had plenty of chances and unfortunately the puck hasn’t bounced his way. Unfortunately same thing goes for JVR who’s had the most scoring opportunities for this team and has gotten robbed on some golden chances. Carter Hart’s been solid in net and so has Elliot combining for a GAA of 2.775. The real struggle has been putting the puck in the back of net.

So that brings me to the key to tonight’s game is which is good forchecking and solid neutral zone defense and transitions, and last but most importantly get to the dirty areas and be aggressive. Get a goal any way possible get it started and don’t stop.

Things to be careful about with Vegas is first and foremost the solid goaltending from Marc- Andre Fluery. But what’s even scarier is the solid goaltending matched by the tremendous first line with Mark Stone who’s got 6 goals and 6 assists in 12 games headlining it.

My predictions for tonight is 4-2 Flyers win with at least 1 goal coming from the kid Joel Farabee who was called up yesterday.
